The Black Inca is a species of hummingbird endemic to Colombia. It was formerly classified as an endangered species but new research has shown it to be not as rare as it was believed. It was downlisted to Vulnerable in 2008 and remains endangered nationally in Colombia due to a 90% habitat loss.
