Buff-Breasted Sabrewing 

SCIENTIFIC NAME: Campylopterus duidae

The Buff-Breasted Sabrewing is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae.

It is 4.72 inches long.

It is green and buff-colored hummingbird.

Both sexes are similar.

Upperparts are green, there is a whitish spot behind the eye, and buff tail and underparts.

Common in tepui highlands, in bushes, forest edges, and open areas with small trees.

Voice is a nasal “dui” note repeated many times.

Territorial, often alone or in pairs close to flowers.
