HUMMINGBIRD SPECIES:
          
The Chestnut-breasted Coronet is a South American hummingbird species. Males have metallic green upperparts, head and gorget. Females are similar with some cinnamon speckles on the green throat. Immatures show more green areas on their underparts, upperparts and mainly on the rump, feathers are edged cinnamon. This species occurs in the Andean forests of extreme Southeastern Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
