The Cozumel Emerald is a species of hummingbird endemic to the Mexican island of Cozumel off the Yucatán Peninsula. Males are elegant, thin, glittering green with a very long, deeply forked tail and straight or slightly decurved, black-tipped red bill. Females have distinctive broad, dark facemask and a rather long forked tail.
