HUMMINGBIRD SPECIES:
     
The Dusky-throated Hermit is a species of hummingbird endemic to the humid Atlantic Forest in south-eastern Brazil. It is similar to the Scale-throated Hermit, but is smaller with a pale throat. It is a small hermit, with a total length of approximately 3.54 inches. It has pale buff underparts and dark streaks on the throat.
