Greenish Puffleg

The Greenish Puffleg is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae.

It is often regarded as including the Buff-thighed Puffleg as a subspecies.

It measures about 3.94 inches long.

It is a fairly dull green hummingbird with small white puffs at the base of each leg. It has a rather short straight bill, diffuse scaled appearance on the underparts, dark tail, and coppery sheen on the head.

Males and females are similar.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forest and heavily degraded former forest.

Found in Colombia, Ecuador, and Panama.
