HUMMINGBIRD SPECIES:
           
The Purple-throated Woodstar is a species of hummingbird that is found in Colombia and Ecuador. Males have a glittering purple throat. Both sexes have metallic green-bronze back and white band around most of their neck. Females have cinnamon colored belly with a variable amount of smudgy white in the center.
