HUMMINGBIRD SPECIES:
      
The Scale-throated Hermit is a South American hummingbird found in the Atlantic forest in north-eastern Argentina, south-eastern Brazil, and eastern Paraguay. It has black feathers on its throat, giving it a scaled appearance. Its bill is slightly curved, its back is olive-green and its long tail is white-tipped.
