The Mexican Woodnymph is a hummingbird species that have a small population size which is considered to be in declines as a result of continuing habitat loss.
The Dot-eared Coquette is a species of hummingbird found in Bolivia and Brazil. It is suspected that they will decline rapidly over the next three generations based on a model of future deforestation in the Amazon basin, and it has therefore been uplisted to Vulnerable.
